Minimum Qualifications Transfer Qualifications: Any current Developmental Assistant 2

Any permanent employee eligible for a 70.1 transfer.

Minimum Qualifications: At least 12 months of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in any combination as a Developmental Assistant Trainee and Developmental Assistant 1; OR one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as a Senior Licensed Practical Nurse

Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interested applicants refer to the Classification Standards for the title which is available in the Office of Human Resources.

  • Monitor and Complete Read & Sign and Face to Face in-services for staff as needed.

  • Maintain staff scheduling and site FTE allocations.

  • Attend Team meetings as scheduled.

  • Correspond with families, advocates, and Care Managers.

  • Arrange and participate in activities and outings.

  • Provide staff training and maintain training records.

  • Complete monthly individual and petty cash account audits.

Order PARs and PA checks. Maintain Individuals acumatica.

  • Monitor site for needed maintenance repairs, submit work orders.

  • Maintain staff TIMES.

  • Attend monthly meetings. LP meetings, etc.

  • Complete staff annual evaluations.

  • Schedule and participate in site fire drills. Complete Fire Safety Portal input.

Conduct fire evacuation in-services as scheduled.

  • Monthly site safety checks.

  • Conduct night rounds as scheduled.

  • Assist with medical appointments.

  • Cover as direct care when needed.

  • Complete required staffing and payroll reports.

  • Participate in daily household chores and food preparation.

  • Report and process incidents per 624 regulation and minor event P & P.

  • Completes staff assignment sheets.

  • Implement Res. Hab. Plans and SSPs.

  • Complete and process transportation records and arrange vehicle repairs.

  • Assist with developing and implementing site specific policies and procedures.

  • Attend supervisory meetings and training.

  • Other duties as assigned.
