Provide technical expertise in aspects of Azure Gov Cloud and Athoc's private cloud as assigned
End to End support for critical Alert systems in production private cloud environment and Azure
Deployment of applications, infrastructure, upgrades, and changes to platform capacity
Responsible for maximizing system uptime and availability, ensuring functional and performance SLAs
Responsible for establishing end-to-end monitoring and alerting for various systems
Creation of playbooks to run when responding to alerts or incidents
Initiate and lead scripting and automation to streamline system updates and upgrades
Work with cloud operations team to resolve trouble tickets, developing and running scripts, and troubleshooting in a hosted environment
Continuously develops skills in public and private cloud
Works well independently requires routine supervision
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Relevant/related experience. Minimum 4 years with a BS/BA or 5 years with a MS/MA
1-2 years' working on a DEV/Ops team with working knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure Gov Cloud, certifications, of any kind in Azure, a plus
1-2 years' experience with software defined networks, application gateways, and load balancing configuration/management in Azure
Basic understanding of supporting, and troubleshooting application level systems, communications, and performance issue in cloud in a multi-tiered architecture
Familiar with controls related to PCI/DSS or FedRamp or an understanding of FIPS and NIST standards
Familiarity with SolarWinds, OpsGenie, Site 24x7 or other monitoring systems
Demonstrated technical competency in 1 or more of the following areas
Windows Server Administration
SQL Server 2016
EMC Storage Technologies
Advance Knowledge of SMTP, SMPP, and mail relays
PowerShell or JSON or Python or other applicable language
Excellent troubleshooting and analytics skills
Ability to use MS Office Tools specifically MS Excel, Visio, Project
Practical understanding or certification in ITIL V2 or V3 Foundations
Team player who works well in collaborative fast paced environment.
