Development Manufacturing Machinist- 2nd and/or 3rd Shift

Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Development Manufacturing Machinist to join them. You will report to the Performance Leader And will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
To be considered for a Development Manufacturing Machinist, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
As a Development Manufacturing Machinist, you will:
Be responsible for the creation, rework and repair of tooling and fixturing, as well as, development, prototype, R&D and production hardware in the form of piece parts or components.
Be responsible for inspection and quality of all work performed using complex inspection techniques including detecting unusual conditions, defective materials, as well as recognizing errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
Use CMM equipment to inspect parts.
Work to a well-defined set of instructions, however technical decisions are expected in the areas of fixturing, tooling, set-up, and inspection methods.
Occasionally assist on process improvement and projects team.
Occasionally work with engineering and managers to support production.
Occasionally be asked to collect data for studies and analysis.
Interpret complex drawings, sketches, EPs and operation sheets.
Perform difficult set-ups.
Set-up and run CNC equipment as well as manual/conventional equipment. This may include editing and creating simple programs associated with CNC equipment.
Have the ability to run several different types of machines with concentration or specialization in one area.
Have the ability to effectively navigate web based computer applications, Moog Business Systems, and database programs.
Have the ability program using Unigraphics and/or Part Maker.
