The DEVELOPMENT MANUFACTURING ENGINEER will be responsible for Participate in a team environment to design, purchase, install, and validate process equipment for medical devices.
Good communication, teamwork and organization skills are essential.
Preferred candidate will have orthopedic industry experience.
Day-to-Day Duties May Include: - Understanding general processes used to manufacture medical device products

  • Developing equipment requirements based upon process and product specifications

  • Facilitating training of operation and maintenance on new equipment and procedures

  • Providing technical consulting to the day-to day Operations and Quality support team

  • Developing and executing installation qualification documentation, operation qualification documentation, and process qualification documentation

    - B.S.
    in Mechanical, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, or other engineering science plus 3-5 years of development and/or manufacturing process development experience
  • Experience with 21 CFR 820.30 (Design Controls) FDA's Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485 and 11607 regulations

  • Knowledge of methods and materials involved in Medical Device sealing processes

  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods for medical implants and instruments (machining, welding, engraving, surface finishing, heat treatment, annealing, lasermarking)

  • Development of Manufacturing Process Flow Charts

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of materials employed in medical implants and instruments (SST 17-4, series 300 & 400 SST, titanium, UHMWPE) is a plus Interested Candidates please send your resume in WORD format to .
