Work directly with application vendor and Business Users to deliver high-value technical solutions and capabilities in support of changing business requirements, new business initiatives, and general application support services associated with the RightAngle system.

Design, development, and implementation of applications.

Performs system analysis for projects of major scope and various complexities to provide a means for solving technical and business-related problems/challenges.

Develops/documents application program logic and syntax from project design specifications or models.

A Bachelor's degree is required. MIS, CIS, or Computer Science degree is preferred.

5+ years of object-oriented programing focused on C# gaining an acute understanding of: generics, anonymous functions, asynchronous programming, multithreading and parallelization, network programing, CLR memory management

Experience in unit testing preferred.

Understanding of design patterns.

3+ years of MS SQL Server 2005 or newer gaining an understanding of ANSI SQL and 2+ years developing Windows Forms or WPF applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.

Openlink Rightangle .NET support experience is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Design embedded control systems using Microcontrollers, DSPs (Digital Signal Processing) and FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays). Design electronic architecture using Microprocessors and their peripherals such as oscillators, watchdogs, RTCs, SDRAM/ DDRAM controllers, SRAM, EEPROM, Flash etc. Design embedded electronics involving peripheral interfaces such as Serial Communication Interfaces (SPI, I2C), Field buses (CANBUS, MODBUS, Devicenet, Profibus), RF wireless communications etc. utilizing C/C++ software languages, PLC and HMI programming. Provide electrical layout schematics. Develop layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB's). Design high temperature, high pressure downhole tools for oil and gas applications. Manage projects, including cost analysis and coordination. Analyze field performance of new equipment, recommend necessary changes and provide local engineering support to operations. Develop test specifications, procedures and objectives. Set up and conduct testing of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving performance or other factors. Determine nature of technical problems and possible solutions such as product redesign, substitution of material or parts or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies. Initiate cost reduction proposals and investigation proposals from other sources, compile appropriate information, make recommendations for action and check on results obtained. QUALIFICATIONS Required: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and two years' experience designing embedded control systems using Microcontrollers, DSPs and FPGAs, electronic architecture using microprocessors and their peripherals, embedded electronics involving peripheral interfaces such as Serial Communication Interfaces (SPI,I2C), Field buses (CANBUS, MODBUS, Devicenet, Profibus), RF wireless communication utilizing C/C++, PLC and HMI programming as well as providing electrical layout schematics and developing layout of PCB's including one year (within 2) designing high temp, high pressure downhole tools for oil and gas applications.
