We' re hiring a Post-Market Development Engineer for our Medical Device Manufacturing client in Winston-Salem! This position offers a competitive pay rate and will start out as a contract assignment, with the potential to lead to permanent employment. The responsibilities of the Development Engineer include managing and performing work to augment current design history files. This position will report to engineering management and interact directly with a cross-functional working group including Regulatory and Quality Assurance in the creation and approval of Design Controls documents. Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical engineering
Ideally 1-2 years of experience, or internships
Work will be performed on-site
Extensive work experience within the medical device / FDA regulated industries is preferred
Strong engineering and technical expertise, and/or trainable in these areas
Extensive DHF experience, with a variety of medical devices
Familiar with cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14971
Technical acumen to work with team engineers to identify/conduct remediation activities
Very conscientio us/detail-oriented
Strong team leadership skills
