  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position. * Development Director organizes, implements, and achieves direct fund raising goals set by the President, Foundation. Must plan, manage and execute the fundraising plan for donors between $50,000 and $225,000 and oversee the $3 million Annual Fund. The incumbent will, through research, decide what donors to personally solicit to increase their giving. This position requires independent judgment, communication, analytical and organizational skills. Includes, marketing, social media, Website and strategic plan to involve the community at large to secure gifts. Meet with donors and prospects to secure gifts of $50,000 to $225,000. Meet on a regular basis with the President to strategize and report progress. * Reports to * President, Foundation * Supervises * None * Ages of Patients * Adult * Geriatric * Blood Borne Pathogens * Minimal/ No Potential * Qualifications * Education * Preferred: Bachelors Degree * Licensure/Certification * None * Experience * Required: 5 years Development experience. Proven record of raising funds in the $10,000 - $200,000 level. * Essential Responsibilities * Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. * Takes responsibility for identification, cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects to increase the number of $50,000 to $225,000 donors to Eisenhower Medical Center. * Creates effective strategic development plans for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of new donors, and prospects. * Oversees strategies for successful achievement of $3 million Annual Fund and Community Gifts Program. * Composes correspondence, proposals, and presentations effectively representing Eisenhower fund raising goals. * Works effectively with foundation staff. * Maintains detailed donor/prospect interactions through timely Raisers Edge entries. * Requires independent judgment to develop effective strategies and fund raising plans to attain and/or exceed the goals established by the President, Foundation. * Requires knowledge, creativity, and judgment when creating correspondence, proposals, and presentations effectively representing Eisenhower fund raising goals. * Requires discretion and independent judgment for identification, cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects to increase the number of $50,000 to $225,000 donors to Eisenhower Medical Center. * Exercises independent judgment in the identification, research, cultivation and solicitation of Annual fund donors and major donors through new and existing programs within the Foundation. * Researches, analyzes and synthesizes information in order to articulate institutional activities and priorities in one-on-one meetings with donors and prospects, trustees, and volunteer leadership. * Performs other duties as assigned.
