As a Developer / Analyst for the OnBase Team, you will be part of a small team of skilled individuals who possess a breadth of knowledge and troubleshooting skills, who thrive on multi-tasking with diverse responsibilities and assignments, and who truly enjoy their work and routinely display a positive attitude. You will help to build and support OnBase software solutions that touch every part of the business from HR to Finance, AP to Operations, and more. You will be an integral part of delivering quick turn-around, high quality, easily adaptable software solutions that streamline business processes, help boost productivity, and help meet compliance initiatives using OnBase, one of the world's leading Enterprise Content Management Products.
This role is ideally suited for those with strong technical and programming skills looking to extend their daily routine to include more business analysis, more interaction with the customer, and more direct contact with the business.
Work with team to design, code, test, and debug OnBase solutions using OnBase's GUI, C# scripting, SQL queries, and OnBase APIs.
Assist with testing and deployment of software patches.
Use OnBase APIs to extend and integrate OnBase with other in-house systems and databases such as JDE, Oracle JDEdwards, HCSS Heavy Bid, and more.
Build SQL queries.
Develop and maintain .NET code to be used in Windows Applications, Web Services, Websites, and other forms of C# scripts.
Oversee OnBase core integrity with routine performance monitoring, server and space checks, processing task reviews.
Develop OnBase knowledge and best practices including OnBase APIs, Workflow, E-Forms, Unity Forms, COLD, auto-capture.
Assist with the planning and installation of software upgrades.
Gather and document business requirements.
Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures and recommend improvements.
Write system and user documentation.
Provide on-going customer support by researching, resolving, and closing helpdesk tickets.
Conduct training classes both on the web and in person (some travel required).
The successful candidate will bring solid software development experience, Windows desktop experience, and either experience with OnBase or a strong desire to learn ECM and OnBase.
College degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering or equivalent experience.
Software Development Experience involving the design, prototyping, development, testing, and debugging of applications (.NET Framework, ASP.NET and C# preferred).
Working knowledge of software development methodologies.
Experience with Windows 7 or 8, Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Windows Operating Systems and general desktop technical and application support.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities and work independently to complete projects on time.
Ability to communicate and train business users on software solutions.
Favorable qualifications (training will be provided for strong candidates):
Experience with ECM, Scanners, ISIS, Twain, and Hyland OnBase preferred, but not required.
OnBase certifications OCSA, OCASA, OCWA, OCAWA, OCAPI, OCSE, and OCWV viewed favorably, although not required and training will be provided as necessary.
As a multinational company, the ability to read, write and speak French would also be an asset.
