What You Will Do

As a Developer Marketing Lead at Moveworks you will launch products, drive go-to-market strategy, enable the field, and help make Moveworks the undisputed leader in our industry.

Our AI is redefining how companies support employees, allowing them to stay productive wherever they're working and whenever they need help. The recent advancements in AI (with the advent of ChatGPT and other LLM technologies) have created huge tailwinds for our business and have immensely accelerated our roadmap. Now more than ever, we need your expertise to communicate the value of our products at scale. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, defining strategy while rolling up your sleeves to get things done, this role is for you.

  • Develop a developer marketing strategy to establish a new category in software development. This strategy will shape the audience and priorities for our marketing, product, and developer experience teams.

  • Create engaging campaigns and events with technical PMs and developer advocates to captivate developers and encourage them to try our product suite.

  • Oversee the entire product marketing cycle, from partnering on product strategy to developing GTM strategies, orchestrating major launches, and driving long-term adoption of our platform.

  • Craft product positioning and messaging based on user and competitive research, with a deep understanding of our most technical products.

  • Be a leading advocate for the developer experience, championing the needs of current and potential users.

  • Stay updated on the competitive landscape and be the go-to expert for your audience to influence the product roadmap and strategy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product managers, engineering, developer relations, sales, design, PR, and marketing-to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product launches.

  • Work with GTM enablement teams to ensure a clear and consistent message for developers, whether they're browsing our website or experiencing a product demo.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing or a technical role

  • Experience in marketing highly technical products with technical fluency, and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms

  • Data-driven curiosity with a history of using data and customer insights to drive decisions

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related technical field

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for technical audiences

  • Strong project management skills, adept at coordinating multiple work streams and cross-functional partners

  • A curious mindset and first principles thinking-bring intuition but avoid rigid playbooks

  • Master communicator who can distill complex, technical concepts into compelling messaging and collateral

  • Ability to dig into and understand technical product features, functionalities, and underlying technologies and translate them into easy to comprehend formats

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments; excited about figuring out solutions to complex problems and executing on them

  • Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build champions with internal and external stakeholders across diverse teams

  • Insatiable curiosity and a passion for understanding customers and new technologies

  • Well-rounded business athlete - with a strong mix of strategic thinking, business acumen, storytelling, creativity, resourcefulness, and operational discipline

Compensation Range: $154,000 - $221,000
