Developer, IS Analytics

LOCATION

Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)

REPORTS TO

Manager, IS Sales, Marketing & Growth

SUMMARY

Member of the IS Vertical team supporting Sales, Marketing, and Growth. Under direct guidance, codes, tests, debugs, and documents reporting applications and data integrations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Delivery:

  • Writes code or configures software based upon technical designs.

  • Executes unit testing to ensure new functionality meets technical design.

  • Adheres to documented standards for development, code promotion, and change management.

  • Understands how data is utilized and transformed in applications and scripts.

Application Support:

  • Provides troubleshooting and fixes for software issues.

  • Executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support existing business processes.

  • Follows defined support call paths including status updates in case management tool.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education

  • Relevant work experience or specialized training in Information Technology field

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Experience

  • Internship or up to 3 years entry level, relevant technical and business work experience

  • Prior experience with technical delivery

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle

  • Knowledge of project management methodology

Other

  • High personal standards of integrity

  • Embraces a customer service mindset

  • Effective spoken and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving or troubleshooting skills

  • Foundation in relational databases and database technology

  • Familiarity with reporting technologies

The selected intern candidate will be expected to complete deep dive analytics, assess current forecast variation at store level, conduct needs assessment to ensure appropriate reporting is available and generate necessary reporting using the analytics capability of the KRONOS timekeeping system.
