Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation, with a passion for optimizing and streamlining development workflows. As a DevOps Administrator, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support

• Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience

• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems

• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues

• Develop scripts to automate visualization

• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Experience, Skills, and Required Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps Administrator or in a similar software engineering role

• Proficiency with Git and Gitlab workflows

• Proficiency with configuration management systems like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SALT, or Terraform

• Good knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Web APIs

• Working knowledge of databases (Mongo, MySQL)

• Working knowledge of system metric frameworks like PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.

• General knowledge of security frameworks ( NIST 800, CMMC, DFARS)

• Problem-solving attitude

• Ability to balance competing priorities.

• This position may require a security clearance. To obtain clearance, employees must show proof of US Citizenship.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree (or experience equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.

• Experience in developing/engineering applications for a large company.
