As a Detection & Investigation Analyst Sr. within PNC's Check Fraud organization, you will be based in Louisville, KY, Pittsburgh, PA, Columbus, OH, Kalamazoo, MI.

Job Description

  • Reviews and investigates customer cases, reports, and work for potential and actual loss; minimizes fraud, AML and/or organizational risk. Responsible for early detection of suspicious activity, control and prevention of losses.

  • Researches and analyzes bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and suspicious activities. Recommends disposition.

  • Uses defined research procedures to identify and resolve issues. Starts to identify trends.

  • Follows standards and practices to mitigate fraud, AML and other risk exposure and loss. Shares best practices amongst the team and/or service partners.

  • Prepares and maintains appropriate documentation of analysis performed and coordinates with internal or external stakeholders as appropriate.

As a Detection &amp; Investigation Analyst Lead within PNC's Commercial Fraud organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Kalamazoo, MI and Cleveland, OH. Job Description * Detection &amp; Investigation Lead The Detect &amp; Investigation Lead Analyst is a part of CFD (Commercial Fraud Detection) Operations Team. This team is located in Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Kalamazoo. CFD is a department within Enterprise Fraud Group. CFD will be responsible for the review of electronic payments flagged for potential fraud. Job duties include, but are not limited to: * <li> Strong understanding of ACH and Wires and how they are processed. Including the backend processing systems such as PEP+ and ACIS. * Background or experience of PINACLE (Online Commercial Banking) * Strong proficiency on the PC with the ability to quickly learn multiple applications * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written is required Review/analyze transactions for possible fraud * Work with team to address daily service level expectations and ensure electronic payments are expedited for same day review * Work with service partners to complete the processing of payments after an escalated review * Communicate with internal service partners * Assist with a daily QA process for regular reviews of alerts * Maintain strong quality control protocols• * Keep current on PNC/industry best practices, laws, regulations and guidance * Participate in internal/external exams * Work on special projects and other duties as assigned * Reviews and investigates customer cases, reports and work for potential and actual loss.
