Detailer Responsibilities:

As an Auto Detailer you will be responsible for the interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles according to company standards and applicable safety measures.

  • Maintain supply inventories and monitor the cleaning equipment and machinery for proper operation and maintenance.

  • Perform cleaning on vehicles, using cleaning supplies and equipment e.g. brushes, scrapers, vacuums, solutions etc.

  • Apply polishes, conditioners, waxes and/or masking materials to preserve, protect, and restore vehicle's interiors and exteriors.

  • Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness and damage.

  • Clean engine and engine compartments.


  • Prior detailing experience preferred.

  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

Hiring Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older.

  • This is a driving position that requires an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

This position is responsible for directing the fiscal operations, including the setup, closing, reconciliation and monitoring, and reporting of grants and other externally funded projects as well as BBER state funded accounts; processing invoices and ensuring arranging for payment from the appropriate external or state funded account; directs fiscal practices to ensure compliance; and processing travel, procurement card, personnel and payroll. This position is responsible for overseeing and monitoring office services Including facilities, telecommunications, equipment and supplies needed by BBER researchers as well as other routine functions associated with a research organization. This position trains and supervises part-time student employees. Required Skills * Knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting, external grants, financial administration, and budgeting. * Ability to oversee and perform a variety of detailed accounting activities. * Possess an understanding of the complex fiscal systems associated with federal, state, and university practices and procedures. * Knowledge and understanding of UM, Montana, federal, and contract-related accounting practices. * Detailed knowledge of budgeting requirements, financial monitoring and reconciliation, and the policies and procedures of the diverse agencies that fund Bureau research. * Communication skills, including the ability to establish working relationships with non-Bureau PIs, ORSP, and sponsoring agencies. * Ability to develop a working of UM personnel and payroll procedures and applications. * Knowledge of and ability to coordinate and oversee office functions. * Ability to work effectively with university administrative personnel, vendors, and suppliers to ensure continuity and effectiveness of office services. * Knowledge of and ability to develop and administer sub-contracts and procurement agreements. Minimum Required Experience * High school diploma (or equivalency) and four (4) years of experience with office management, accounting, budgeting and financial reporting; or any combination of experience and education that provides the competencies necessary to successfully discharge the duties and responsibilities assigned to the position. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with UM research, business series, human resources and other administrative functions preferred but not required. * Associate degree or bachelor's degree in related field.
