Detailer / Car Washer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Detailer / Car Washer to join our team at Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Norman in Norman, Oklahoma. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry and will primarily be responsible for detailing and cleaning vehicles for our dealership. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in automotive detailing and have a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and cleanliness in our vehicles. This is an individual contributor role, and the successful candidate will ensure customer satisfaction by providing top-quality detailing services.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $12 to $15 per hour, depending on experience. In addition, we offer excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and detail vehicles including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets and upholstery.

• Inspect vehicles and report any damage or necessary repairs to management.

• Use detailing equipment and cleaning products in a safe and effective manner.

• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and inform management when supplies are low or need to be replaced.

• Follow all dealership and manufacturer guidelines for vehicle cleaning and detailing.

• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with customers while performing detailing services.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred.

• Knowledge of detailing equipment and products.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
