Actalent Services is seeking to add a Drafter to our team in WA!

Job Description:

This Drafter will be taking on projects from the front end, interpreting details, and then providing a set of drawings to the client for approval.

• They will look at the architectural and construction contract documents to interpret what their scope of work is, what they are supposed to be drawing against, and occasionally interpret spec language.

• Spend most of their time drawing in autocad working on plans, elevations, and blow up details with the information they have based on the company's system.

• Submitting purchase orders to the structural engineers to proceed with getting calculations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience preferred but open to any level of experience

• AutoCAD proficiency required

• Fabrication knowledge not required

• A CVP or CSI certification preferred

• Understanding of parametric modeler, Revit, or other software would be helpful

• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings, plans and specs
