A Desktop Technician II job in Arlington, Texas is currently available through Belcan with one of our Aerospace clients. You will provide information technology customer support for local and remote users.

To be considered for this role, you will need at least five years of experience providing first level support, PC deployment, Microsoft deployment tool kit and Imaging. This is a great opportunity with a growing company.

Desktop Technician II Job duties:

Daily duties include responding to Voice Mail, E-mail, Phone calls, walk-up and remote support

Deliver information technology customer support for local and remote users

Strong Customer Service experience

Taking ownership of issues through to resolution on all appropriate requests

Experienced utilizing a ticketing system to categorize and prioritize end user support requests and service requests to track tickets and provide up-to-date status and information

Instruct users on the use of personal computers and networks

Maintain and update standardized Apple Mac images (including configuration profiles)

Performing asset inventory activities as needed

Participate in Desktop Support (EndPoint) / After Hours On-Call support rotation


High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 5 years experience providing first level support

Minimum 2 years of Apple (Mac) Support experience

Advanced Internet Explorer, Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 knowledge

Experience with Dell Optiplex, Precision and Latitude hardware

Experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and other basic Commercial Off-the-shelf applications

A+ and MCITP Certifications Preferred

Previous experience working in a Department of Defense environment is preferred
