Desktop Engineer
Position allows opportunity to grow into some System Engineer responsibilities
Summary of Desktop Engineer:
The Desktop Support Engineer candidate is responsible for supporting all facets of the end-user experience.
Partner and work closely with members of all departments and locations.
Ensure alignment on the user experience.
Adjust prioritization to meet expectations of the business and management.
Responsibilities of Desktop Engineer:
Perform troubleshooting and break/fix tasks for in-house and retail store personnel
Google Administration
Both onsite, offsite and remote support required. (Travel < 5%)
Basic troubleshooting of network related issues
Administration of various IT platforms (SCCM, EPP Suite, Atlassian Suite, HP MPS, Miraki MDM, etc.)
Maintenance and routine auditing of our environment (Asset Tracking, Record Keeping, Google Distribution Groups, Active Directory upkeep, Vonage Extensions, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of Windows 10, MacOS and IOS operating systems to assist in design, architecture, break/fix and general maintenance.
License Management and version control
Maintain and Support HP Printers, Canon and Ricoh Copiers.
Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration.
Monthly patch management for Windows updates and various software version updates such as Java
Write quality Internal (Technical) and External (Customer) facing documentation
Make suggestions for better solutions to problems
Keep abreast of the latest and emerging technologies in your area of expertise
Manage and support audio/video equipment (Conference and Training Rooms)
Build, Deploy and Repair computer systems
Oral and written communication to our customers (Byrider end-users)
Train user base on how to use various technologies when necessary

Required Technical Skills of Desktop Engineer:
SCCM (Patch Management, Deployment Package Creation and Release Management, Task Sequence Experience, Triage of Deployment issues)
Endpoint Protection Suite Administration (Firewall, AV/Malware, Device Control)
Extensive Break/Fix Software and Hardware Experience
Audio/Video Experience (Projectors, Conference Room Maintenance)
Asset Management Administration
Windows 11 OS Administration (Group/Local Policy, Registry and BIOS Modifications)
Desired Technology Experience of Desktop Engineer:
Automation via PowerShell
Windows Server 2012 R2 to Current Experience"
Atlassian Product Suite Administration (Jira Service Desk, Confluence)
Intranet Administration
Google Workspace Administration
HP Managed Print Service Administration
MacOS and IOS Operating System Administration
