Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Team is responsible for implementation and deployment for all End User devices and Infrastructure.

JAMF, SCCM, MAC, All iOS and Android devices, Desktops/Laptops. Responsible for the user experience. The Desktop Engineer II is responsible for the workstation enterprise environment within the organization.

Diagnoses and repairs problems in a manner that prevents future errors and problems. Works closely with Service Desk and Technology Support to correct any identified problems with regards to workstation imaging or software deployment. Responsible for the creation of application packages and the end-to-end management of thin client devices including image creation & deployment, updates, and workstation security tools and patching.

Manages the single sign on solution including deployment, updates, and troubleshooting. Analyzes 3rd party products and recommends use of new products and services to management. Adheres to workstation engineering best practices and enterprise policy in the hospital environment from requirement gathering through implementation for assigned projects.

Ensure that platform patch management and antivirus services are kept current. Monitor Desktop, Application and Thin Client environments and supporting infrastructure using a variety of tools. Adhere to strict IT security policies and processes including change management/change control for industry standards compliance.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 5 years' experience managing workstation PCs including repair, installation, maintenance, and application deployment. Must have 3 years of hands-on industry experience in a systems support role.

Experience with device engineering, design and deployments. Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows workstation operating systems, Active Directory, SMS/SCCM, A strong foundation in scripting solutions such as PowerShell & VBScript preferred. Experience with ChromeOS, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's Degree required.

Related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Certifications preferred include MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, A+, Citrix CCA, Citrix Certified Associate

• Virtualization, Certified McAfee Security Specialist

• Epo, ITIL v3 Foundations.

Pay Scale Information

$61,360.00-$105,966.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
