The Endpoint Security Administrator reports to the Director of Information Systems, and provides configuration and administratorlevel support for Ivanti/LANDESK Management Suite and Endpoint Manager (LDMS/EPM). This includes patch management, encryption, software packaging, and software distribution, create master OS image (.WIM). The Systems Administrator is also a technical and advisory resource for the Information Systems Specialists.


  • Configuration and Administration of Ivanti LANDesk Management Suite and Endpoint Manager (LDMS/EPM).

  • Perform monthly and emergency patching of all client machines, analyzing their impact to the enterprise, developing patching templates, and schedules.

  • Assist in the design and building of additions to LDMS/EPM.

  • Management of LDMS/EPM architecture, implementing upgrades and testing for

  • Utilize LDMS/EPM for monitoring client agent health remote control, software distribution, patch management, license monitoring, OS provisioning.

  • Monitor deployed endpoint inventory in LDMS/EPM systems and assist in provisioning of equipment.

  • Create custom queries and weekly reports using LANDesk Systems and Dashboards using Xtraction, as well as any remediation plans.

  • Some use of PowerShell scripting for software package deployment

  • Create and setup end user systems using master ".WIM" images for desktops, laptops, and tablets, including all necessary applications.

  • Provide advanced technical assistance and support (3rd level) for Helpdesk and Field Technicians for issues related to endpoint security or imaging.

  • Server maintenance of Ivanti/LanDesk servers in collaboration with the Technical Services team.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation with respect to process, procedures, tasks and

  • Assist in troubleshooting endpoint security-related incidents, including locating, scanning, and analysis of infected machines.

  • Managing user access for USB storage devices and other externally connected storage equipment on client machines.

  • Assist in research, design and implementation of new technology.

  • Assist and potentially lead beta testing and workflow review during design and development phases of Information Systems

  • Proactively provide timely feedback to supervisors for information such as patch levels, vulnerabilities such as zero-day threats, and changes to master images.

  • Make recommendations for technology

  • Determine when it is appropriate to escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate resource.

  • May be required to work a flexible

  • This position may require the minimal use of a personal vehicle or local travel.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or five (5) or more years of relevant work


  • Three (3) or more years of experience in with an Endpoint Management Suite and in an Endpoint Administration role. (Preferably Ivanti/LanDesk)

  • Basic Knowledge of firewall / router / switch technologies

  • Competent in all aspects of installing, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining Microsoft Windows 8 and 10 Enterprise.

  • Experience in HIPAA/HITRUST Environment a

  • Deployment services like WDS or similar applications.

  • Patching using WSUS or other patching mechanisms.

  • Setting up and troubleshooting Office Applications.

  • Solid oral and written communication, and presentation skills.

  • Advanced ability in organization, time management and planning skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of one or more teams.

  • Must possess the flexibility necessary to effectively perform in a dynamic, constantly changing and priority shifting professional environment.

  • Professionalism in communication and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, commitment to service and excellence.

  • Experience with Windows Server OS, Windows 8 and 10 Enterprise.
