Your responsibilities Essential Duties and

Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same Creates and releases complex drawings and designs of shock absorbers Writes change requests for all engineering changes (OEs) in order to make complex modifications to current drawings in organizations data base system (Oracle software) to meet the design specifications outlined by the Product Engineer Interfaces with data base system (Oracle software) to release drawings and works closely with German Design team to create new Oracle processes Revises and updates existing drawings to reflect design changes Accurately follows specifications outlined in the blueprints to make modifications to drawings and obtains approval on all drawings Performs complex mathematical calculations, such as shock layouts Investigates any discrepancies noticed in drawings and makes adjustments to ensure the form, fit and function of the design is accurate Makes recommendations to the Product Engineer on design layouts Interfaces with customers to upload 3D models and drawings into the customer's specific drawing software system Managers the new design software and interface requirements from customers proactively Performs supplier research on industry standard components, such as "o" rings and fasteners Coordinates with Bilstein IT group and German Design Team to assist with resolving software and hardware issues Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your profile Qualifications & Experience: Expert CAD experience designing solid models in either Catia V5 or NX 8.5 software Considerable experience as a Designer, preferably in the automotive industry Proficient experience creating typical 2D print dimensioning Advanced understanding of how to apply GD&T to drawings Considerable experience in releasing drawings into data base (Oracle experience preferred) Demonstrated knowledge of complex math.

Possesses a logical method of problem solving and willingness to learn and improve one's skills. Demonstrates a strong commitment to meet and exceed customer requirements at all times Ability to read and understand blue prints and work instruction Ability to communicate to engineers & suppliers simple design & engineering conditions. Possesses a stable work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment Demonstrates a strong customer focus along with a great work ethic and willingness to do what needs to be done (without taking shortcuts) Demonstrated reliability, good initiative, committed, and quality focused Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills Proven experience developing work processes to improve outcomes for the team/customers Education: 2 or 4 year technical degree preferred; High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (Days and Hours will vary depending on hospital training needs) The duties for the Training Supervisor position include but are not limited to: Administratively responsible for coordination of education activities consistent with direction and mission of the organization; initiates/oversees planning & development, implementation, and evaluation of staff education programs. Assists organization with determining priorities, establishes work plans & monitors training activities. Directs the curriculum design, implementation, evaluation and record-keeping of staff training programs. Participates in training of CPR, CIT, and other New Employee or Annual Training as necessary. Conducts annual needs assessment and makes recommendations to the Nurse Executive and the Executive Committee. Oversees development, implementation, and evaluation of annual staff core competencies and skills competencies assuring compliance with hospital, OhioMHAS, Joint Commission, CMS standards, and/or other accrediting bodies. Collaborates with department heads to provide appropriate education resources to staff; makes recommendations for learning resources to meet education needs of all staff. Under the direction of the Nurse Executive, oversees delivery of Nursing Department Orientation. Demonstrates knowledge of SBH safety and prevention programs; possesses the ability to identify risks to safety/health and responds per SBH policies. In collaboration with the QA/PI department, utilizes the QA/PI process to continually monitor the quality of staff development and training on patient care. Coordinates student opportunities with affiliating agencies/universities, insures hospital training compliance; responsible for facilitating and coordinating CME/CE programs. Provides direction and supervision to training officers, and nurse educators within the staff education department. Responsible for education program/personnel management; schedules activities & work assignments; leads project & work-plan implementation; performs administrative duties, e.g. leave requests & discipline; establishes job performance standards; provides coaching/training to staff; complete employee performance evaluations; enforce SBH & OhioMHAS policies & work rules; maintains needed files & records. Utilizes established hospital standards, evidence-based and emerging 'best practices' to promote an environment of care which is safe, respectful and recovery-based. Prepares informational and instructional staff education programs; proficient in Learning Management System and related training programs; manages and implements training policy and procedures; skilled in Electronic Medical Record, assists/consults with other trainers in presenting effective education/training. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications as required to meet training needs of the department. Monitor and assure training standards for accreditation purposes are met. Acts as a liaison with the southwestern Ohio region nursing, medical, social work, occupational therapy schools &/or university student placement and orientation and/or training requirements. Oversees the nursing clinical rotation orientation and scheduling process. Performs other related duties; attends and participates in workshops/seminars, attends assigned hospital committee meetings.
