The Graphic Designer/Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of the Northeast Industrial business through the application of project management, marketing communications, content development, graphics and formatting skill sets to advance the property marketing and business development efforts of our sales professionals and the productivity of the department.
Our ideal candidate comes with proven design experience and has a strong understanding of marketing best practices. They are interested in developing techniques to provide unique solutions for our internal clients and have the ability to be creative both inside and outside of our corporate brand guidelines while being conscious of delivering accurate content in their creative work. The Graphic Designer/Marketing Associate has a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and can efficiently own multiple projects at a time. They also have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively depending on the project. The position will report directly to the Manager, Marketing, Northeast Industrial.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide content and graphics support for exclusive properties (e.g., templates, flyers, brochures, maps, websites, social media, etc.)
Provide content and graphics support for internal communications
Support internal and/or client events (e.g., graphics, planning, hosting, etc.)
Provide content and graphics support for marketing initiatives (i.e., advertisements, brochures, case studies, direct mail/e-mail campaigns, internal marketing materials, websites, social media, etc.)
Keep up-to-date on current design methodologies and business-to-business marketing trends, as well as current social media.
Provide content and graphics support for sales materials developed for pitch meetings (e.g., presentations, placemats, boards, banners, maps, charts, etc.)
Provide content and graphics support for client service materials (e.g., presentations, placemats, boards, banners, maps, charts, etc.)
Work with brand compliant tools and templates to design deliverables with strong brand impact
Format client deliverables/documentation (e.g., reports, graphics, charts, maps, etc.)
Format presentation materials for internal meetings (e.g., save-the-date, invites, presentations, placemats, boards, banners, maps, charts, etc.)
Support Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with content development, document management, formatting and graphic assistance
Develop an expert understanding of brand guidelines, tools and templates
Mentor administrative resources in the adoption and implementation of brand standards
Train administrative resources on varying interpretations of the brand across deliverables and formats
Evaluate work product against brand guidelines and direct to compliance or escalate non-compliant work
Partner with direct report to maintain workload management
Assist with project trafficking and stakeholder management
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in related field with 3-5 years of design experience in a corporate setting
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Proficient in digital design software and programming platforms
Knowledge of the print production process
Knowledge of mapping experience is a plus
Ability to convey thoughts and ideas in a clear/concise manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including editing and proofreading
Ability to organize use of time in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple projects simultaneously
Understanding of commitment to client service and strict adherence/dedication to meet deadlines
Availability to work extended hours when needed (sometimes with no advanced notice)
Real estate, particularly industrial, experience a plus
