Are you a creative thinker with a passion for innovativedesign, conceptual thinking, the latest in digital channels and emergingtechnologies? Do you want to be at the nexus of sport and culture? Do you wantto push and challenge the way that brands market and reach their audiences innew ways?

If the answer is yes, Nike is seeking strong visual anddigital design talent to create a host of digitally focused marketing andcommunication experiences. We are looking for candidates with a love ofinteractive design & conceptual solutions, who will bring fresh,contemporary ideas and creativity emotionally engage Nike's consumers and communitymembers.

As a Designer II, you will have an emphasis on digitalcreative thinking and multimedia, working in collaboration with design leadersand fellow designers, producers, writers and agency partners to develop andexecute ideas across digital channels such as social, Nike Apps, Nike.com andsearch platforms. Key responsibilities

  • Listen and respond to a brief, ask questions,ideate and collaborate with a cross-functional creative team, and develop andframe concepts in line with the briefs

  • Translate marketing plans, consumer needs andtechnical capabilities into designs that are visually exciting, easy to use andemotionally engaging across different digital platforms

  • Develop holistic creative point of view andpresent concepts and production ideas to broader team and leadership

  • Take design concepts from idea to consumer, beopen to think big and have passion to take your idea through production andexecution

  • Responsible for small projects or programs withmanageable risks and resource requirements

  • Learn new skills and stay abreast of technicaland digital design developments and successfully apply these to work practices

  • Push the Brand Design team into a new era ofcontemporary and digital design thinking with a view to elevate the standard ofthat thinking throughout the business.

Skills

  • Experience in visual design, motion design oruser experience design combined with solid knowledge of how to leverage today'sdigital channels and emerging technologies

  • Ability to present and sell-in creativeconcepts and execution ideas

  • An appreciation of interactive creative,usability, interaction design and engineering

  • Develop comprehensive designs that work acrossdigital experiences

  • Interest to work in responsive design andcollaborative creative teams

  • Familiarity with current trends, color, design,art, photography and experience design.

  • Consistently deliver high-quality work on timeand with attention to detail

  • Effective oral and written communication skillsin local market language

  • Proficient information-seeking skills and drivefor results

  • An understanding and intrigue with creative useof social media

  • Motion skills are a bonus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in design; communicationdesign, advertising design or interaction design

  • Experience with digital platforms and emergingtechnologies

  • 3-8 years' directly relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in Mac OSX, InDesign, Sketch,Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Acrobat

  • Travel 10% of the time

  • Some experience in strategic thinking andplanning
