Designer I - Energy

We are an integral player in the development and expansion of energy facilities and programs for major fueling companies, municipalities, utility organizations and independent marketers across the country. Our experience includes engineering and planning petroleum, hydrogen, EV charging, natural gas, CNG and LNG stations. While the scope of our services will continue to expand with emerging industries, most of the job duties will be heavily focused on retail fueling design for some of the nations and world's largest and most respected companies.

Pay is DOE: $30-$40/hour

• This is a full-time, onsite position*

Energy Designer I Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup of project drawings and the compilation of construction drawings and exhibits.

• Support the creation of site-specific energy system plans, including details for fueling and various alternative energy systems using AutoCAD (Revit skills are a plus but not required).

• Collaborate with project leads to ensure projects are completed promptly and within established budgets.

• Attending internal team project meetings and training sessions.

Energy Designer I Job Requirements:

• 1-2+ years of experience in commercial drafting design

• Proficient with AutoCAD and network filing systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with MS Office

• Willingness and/or capability to collaborate in teams to achieve common objectives (a genuine team player).

• Self-motivated with the ability and desire to advance towards energy system expertise.

• Strives for career advancement through research and understanding of project-related equipment, regulatory codes, and emerging technology in energy systems.
