Among the industries served are the chemical processing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, refining, and power generation. Position Summary Crane ChemPharma and Energy, Saunders Corp is a long standing and highly reputable manufacturer of Aseptic valves deployed within the Pharmaceutical Industry for many high purity applications. Crane CPE's Saunders HC4 division is seeking a Designer to support standard and complex nonstandard drawings, bill of material and part creation within the design department.

Principle Duties: Configure products as per customer specifications and produce general arrangement, fabrication, manufacturing and 3D model drawings.

Maintain drawing revision levels as per industry and company requirements.

Prepare BOMs/ revisions per defined process and support PCO creation through MRP/ ERP systems. Improve continuously upon quality and delivery of engineering drawings and BOMs. Completion of customer drawings and manufacturing drawings as per standard process in a timely manner Responsible for accuracy, clarity, neatness and conformance to ANSI and Saunders methods/standards for all drawings.

Makes revisions to existing designs with a minimum of supervision. Provides customer solutions under direction of a Product Engineers. Completes new CAD detail drawings working from an existing layout.

When possible, responds to manufacturing and quality questions regarding designs, layouts and detail drawings. Understands and work with Engineering Change Order system. Maintains Design office KPIs (Backlog, Lead Time, OTD), reports out as requested daily, weekly, monthly.

Essential Qualifications / Experience: An Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering is desired with 5 years' experience within Pharma or related industry. Preferred certificate in Auto Cad Design 2D and 3D model experience with minimum of 5 years industry experience.

Preferred working knowledge and proficiency in NX/IDEAS/SolidWorks/ MS Office- Excel/ AutoCAD. Working knowledge is required of engineering drawings and their interpretation including material, tolerances use of finish, design processes, concentricity, and welding symbols and basic understanding of P&ID take offs. Preferred knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine, welding, polishing, a plus.

Highly organized and strives for best of class service and response times to customer. Knowledge of ASME and Industry standards.
