What's the Job?

Youd work within BHS marketing team and help with:

  • Creative concepting to identify a look and feel for various content
  • Designing materials in InDesign
  • Editing photos in Photoshop
  • Coordinating with vendors for assets (including, photo, video, floorplans)
  • Working hands-on with agents to advise them on design elements
  • Collaborating with a creative director and team to identify new ideas


What kind of person are we looking for?

Wed like you to be the kind of person who:

  • has at least 2+ years experience designing in Adobe
  • loves pixel perfect modern design and capable of producing it
  • is passionate for keeping things simple
  • meticulous about organization, clean layer structuring, and naming conventions
  • has strong typography skills and understands nuances of margin space
  • geeks out on design trends
  • subscribes to blogs and channels about design
  • might describe themself as creative, artistic, organized, strategic, detail-oriented, collaborative, etc.
  • has an entrepreneurial drive that will thrive with minimal structure (we dont micromanage)
  • brings a positive attitude to the workplace
  • Interest and/or knowledge of real estate market is a big plus

We're open-minded, with kind hearts and global minds.</p><p>purpose</p><p>The Designer is responsible for the correct implementation of citizenM brand standards from acquisition through to completion of the construction documents. He/she will be responsible for designing &amp; creating a genuine citizenM experience.</p><p>The Designer will work within the global citizenM Design Team, focusing on the roll out of new US hotels. The Designer will be essential in conducting feasibility studies for potential new hotel sites. This involves not only design work, but also research and understanding of local building, zoning, and planning codes.</p><p>During the first phase of a new project, the Designer will help develop the design in collaboration with the creative agency &quot;concrete&quot;, compile and administrate all project related documentation, and facilitate related sign-off procedures.</p><p>In the later stages of a project the Designer - in collaboration with the Senior Designer, design manager, and the local architect / professional team - will oversee development of the design through to Construction Documentation (RIBA stage 4). In all stages of the project the Designer will provide design direction for all guest facing, functional and operational areas of the building.</p><p>The Designer may also be involved in offline projects and the creation of new hotel experiences.
