Job Title: Designer and Drafter

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Designer and Drafter with a solid background in steel sheet and shape shop fabrication drawings, machining, and structural design. In this role, you'll be creating 2D designs in AutoCAD, interpreting design sketches, and developing complete fabrication or process installation drawings. Expect to be actively involved in every step of the process, from gathering customer requirements and dimensions to producing detailed drawings with all the necessary specifications. These drawings will include weld symbols and a complete bill of materials with descriptions and weights. You will also interact with our fabrication shop and QC, and may occasionally need to travel to project sites for field dimensioning and installation inspection.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in St. Helens, Oregon.

Work Environment

You will be joining a small but dynamic team of 11, including 6 welders/fabricators, 1 painter, 1 accountant, and 3 engineers. We encourage collaboration and open communication among our team members.
