Designer

Actalent is currently looking for a designer for immediate start in Knoxville, TN

We are looking for someone to come in to redesign and modernize a model of this project. Solidworks electrical is what will be used for this work. This will be 3D design work and projecting 6 months worth of work. Depending on the skillset of the candidate there are multiple other projects that they can help out with to have this contract extended/more work added. Somebody that comes from a panel design and industrial controls design

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Electrical Controls Designer

We have a need for an electrical engineer with experience designing industrial control panels. We are looking for the following skill set

• Experience designing power distribution and low-voltage DC panels for industrial automation which meet those standards

• Knowledge of relevant manufacturer's parts catalogs (available fuse holders, circuit breakers, terminals, etc.)

• Proficient in Solidworks (able to import mfg parts, create assemblies, create assembly drawings)

• (Optional but preferred) Proficient in Solidworks electrical

• (Not needed) PLC programming experience, software development, hands-on building
