The Opportunity

The Marvell Fusion Baseband processor team works on ground-breaking baseband technology to enable next-generation 5G solutions for the industry's largest customers.

In this role, you will work on the verification environment for Marvell Fusion Baseband processor, including testbench architecture, developing reference models, bus-functional monitors and

drivers to verify the complex hardware powering this product line.

Activities may include:

  • Writing a verification test plan using random techniques and coverage analysis and working with designers to ensure it is complete.

  • Developing tests and tuning the environment to achieve coverage goals.

  • Own and debug failures in simulation to root cause problems

  • Analysis/closure of code and functional coverage.

  • Transforming the requirements from the engineering teams into software tools that are both easy to use and scalable within a highly parallel compute environment.

  • Unit and regression testing of software tools.

  • BS/MS Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with 1-3 years of verification experience

  • Other Skills:

  • Diligent, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative and handle assignments with minimal supervision.

  • Requires the ability to accept and work with differing opinions

  • Have an Open-minded developer mentality

  • Must be able to learn on the fly and work in a fast-paced environment

The Opportunity Here at Marvell's Infrastructure Processor Business Unit (IPBU) we design and verify SoCs that provide cutting-edge solutions in 5G, network processing, automotive, and AI/ML for the customers. Come and help us define, design, implement and validate Marvell's next-generation SOCs. Job Responsibilities: * Candidate will be working on verification of Marvell 's 5G, network processing & automotive SOCs * Develop the architecture for a functional verification environment, including reference models and bus-functional monitors and drivers. * Write a verification test plan using random techniques and coverage analysis, and work with designers to ensure it is complete. * Develop tests and tune the environment to achieve coverage goals. * Debug failures and work with designers to resolve issues. * Architecting, developing, and maintaining tools to streamline the design of state-of-the-art multicore SoCs. * Experience with analysis/closure of code and functional coverage. Requirements: Requirements: * Experience developing complex random verification environment using System Verilog/UVM/OVM. * Knowledge and experience with Ethernet, Flash, I3C, PCIe, and UART protocols. * Knowledge of high-speed interconnect, DDR, AXI, APB, AHB protocols. * Experience with writing and executing detailed verification test-plan. * Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl and EDA Verification tools, as well as bug tracking and regression mechanisms. * Experience with object-oriented design and implementation. Preferred/Plus: * Hands-on knowledge of ARM processor-based subsystem verification. * Working knowledge of C/C++ and ARM Assembly programming. * Familiarity with Post-Silicon validation and debug. * Experience with Gate Level Simulations. * Excellent communication skills to interface internally and externally with all levels of the organization and to participate in problem-solving and quality improvement activities. * Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills. * Has an inherent sense of urgency and accountability. * Must have the ability to define problems, issues, and opportunities, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from various datasets. * Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Work independently & manage deliverables to align with the project goals Education: * BS Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with 3+ years of verification experience or MS Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of experience. #LI-MM1 The Perks With competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an incredible culture.
