Internship Program at Tesla

About the Team
The 3D Visualization team is responsible for the creation of computer-generated imagery. Primary tasks for our intern will involve maintaining 150% "virtual garage" vehicles for use in real-time review sessions, assisting and researching in use of VR technologies for digital design reviews, and with other visualization tasks such as still imagery creation.

The successful candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work independently. This person must establish and maintain a professional working relationship with external and internal teams at all levels across the company. Typical job duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining "virtual garage" master files for real-time reviews.
Still imagery creation
Shading / Lighting / Texturing
Compositing / Post-processing
Rigging mechanical systems
Animating cameras / vehicles
Interfacing with design, engineering, web, stores and manufacturing to provide visualization solutions
Supporting legacy projects
Experience in Unreal Engine 4, with emphasis in blueprints, lighting and shading.
Knowledge of computer graphics theory and concepts.
Receptive to learning new tools and exchanging knowledge.
Accustomed to going above and beyond.
Excellent communicator, team player, resourceful, organized and mindful of time management.
