The Design Team Lead is responsible for the following:

  • Work with the client to understanding Business Requirements by reviewing the Business Requirements Document

  • Translate Business Requirements into Technical Requirements

  • Identify appropriate SMEs for Technical Requirements and Design discussions

  • Translate Technical Requirements into a Low Level Design (LLD) solution using IT Service Management (ITSM) Framework's Service Request (SR) Design Console

  • Partner with the client and several Technology Infrastructure (TI) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to product the design solution that meets the Business Requirements

  • Product High Level Designs (HLDs) using Visio and Adobe along with the LLDs.

  • Understanding BAC Reference Architecture standards as well as a number of Standard and Frameworks the bank has to offer to produce a standard and supported solution

  • Identify any non standard product and address with appropriate parties for resolution

  • Work closely with the Chief Engineer throughout the project

  • Work with the CE and Capacity Planner to agree to a hosting target location and solution around sizing of CPU, Memory and Storage

  • Identify any Issues, Risks, Assumptions, Key Decisions that would impact the Technical Design or LLD

  • LLD requirements include documenting CPU, Memory, Disk requirements (type; NAS, SAN, size and ownership) backup requirements; schedules, retentions and file systems, Application (Database, Middleware, Presentation) requirements, hosting location, capturing Active Directory Organizational Units, capturing maintenance and outage windows and identify additional software that must be installed on targeted platforms

  • Work closely with the Technology Project Manager to communicate status, updates and escalate to resolve issues as needed

  • Work with Supply Chain Management to obtain quotes for hardware where appropriate

  • Meet with appropriate SMEs to review and obtain signoff for Cost and Design solutions

  • Update, maintain and post accurate Design deliverables to Project repository

  • Support Technology Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a lead engineer on a project team.

  • Experience with creating: Hosting Proposal Document, Costing Estimation Workbook, High Level Design and Low Level Design.

  • Experience with: DNS registrations, identifying network requirements, requesting Active Directory Organizational Units, gathering Global/Local Traffic Management requirements, gathering Fast DNS requirements.

  • Experience with the following technologies: Server Operating Systems; Windows and LINUX (Solaris and AIX to a lesser extent) Networking; F5 Big IP Global/Local Traffic Management concepts, Fast DNS concepts, Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage concepts, Domain Name Service, Database, Middleware and Presentation technological concepts, Java and Messaging concepts

  • Experience with ITSM, BAC Standards and Frameworks and Project Management methodologies

Desired skills:

  • Experience and knowledge of: Networking Concepts, Server OS and Application; database, middleware, presentation concepts and security concepts related to BAC

RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS): * Assist leadership on reaching day to day goals for the team to include safety, quality, and machine operation * Monitor team production rate and quality to meet shift targets * Maintain shift records to include production, shipping, receiving and quality * Promote and lead by example for all safety activities and compliance * Ensure the safety of assigned production area and report safety * Monitor materials and supplies to ensure adequate inventories for production * Handle paperwork for shipments, receipts, bills of lading, etc. * Communicate directly with the team on a daily basis to include production, safety, departmental and company updates * Support quality programs and processes to ensure compliance with applicable GMP's, SOP's, Food Safety Management System and EH&S standards * Look for ways to continuously improve the process to ensure an on-time, quality product * Foster team development and train new employees on safety, quality & production procedures * Drive productivity and improvement by facilitating volume flexibility to meet customer demand, maximizing production efficiencies and looking for continuous improvement opportunities * Address questions or problems that occur on the shift and work with other department leaders, Service Center Manager and/ or the HR Services team as appropriate REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, & EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES): * Minimum 2+ years related experience preferred * Forklift Experience 2+ years actively operating a forklift where applicable * Operators Experience 2+ years operating automated equipment * Packaging or Food manufacturing environment is a plus * Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) * Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-driven, change-focused environment * Good judgment and decision-making ability * Team player who works productively and demonstrates leadership potential * Ability to perform simple business math * Demonstrated high integrity and ethical standards * Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures * Ability to work occasional flexible hours and overtime based on company/volume needs PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Physical ability to drive a forklift * Must be able to stand 8-12 hours on a concrete floor * Ability to work in a warm climate * Manual manipulation of containers (assemble or collapse RPCs by continuous bending of wrists) * Reaching, bending and twisting frequently * Ability to work at a production conveyor line * Must be able to see labels on totes and inspect totes for quality concerns * Ability to distinguish different totes, including color and size * Lift up to 7lbs on a frequent and continuous basis * Lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis * Regular above the shoulder work * Must wear PPE as required SAFETY: * Maintain a safe working environment.
