Overview

The successful candidate will work with D459 Design personnel and be the department IPDE lead. The candidate will work with design personnel to maintain DpDs/CATIA work methods and identify training needs and implement curriculum. Others duties will include:

  • Identify and maintain and implement IPDE training curriculum (DD/PMI, Change Management, &Arrangements)

  • Model based checking/reviewing procedure updates

  • Manage & Maintain Directorate /SME owned DpDs and comment adjudication

  • Identify/select/ instructors

  • Coordinate training needed to develop new instructors

  • Communication - IPDE Tool, Process additions , issues or changes, updates and tutor & user awareness

  • TA Core Team representative

  • Identify and implement all model based IPDE tools, process/procedures, & checking process/procedures and curriculum development

  • Determine and implement BA work instruction view processes for model based views, formalize procedures

  • Help to develop other design personnel who will be working BA work instruction views

  • Provide mentoring as additional personnel are brought on board

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Five years or more experience in a Design Department or relevant experience

  • Candidate must have significant experience with personal computers and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience with DD/PMI Processes, model based view and work instruction development

  • Experience with IPDE, Teamcenter/NX

Skills

  • Motivated, performance driven individual with strong leadership skills and ability to work independently

  • Must have excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills to effectively interface with internal and external customers as well as all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Demonstrated experience developing solutions to address business problems

  • Ability to combine initiative with professionalism to accomplish difficult tasks

  • Experience or strong familiarity with the EB Design organizations products and processes

  • Strong communication skills
