Design Project Manager

Position Purpose The Design Project Manager coordinates the design of construction projects, reviews drawings and finishes, manages vendor deliverable dates, and prepares other applicable stakeholder report documentation. The Design Project Manager maintains and plans for implementation of company-wide design standards that meet regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also include assisting with the planning and phasing of renovation and finish upgrade projects at existing hospitals at a program level.

Responsibilities and Tasks Manages design consultants, owner consultants, contractors, vendors and Manages design project schedules individually and a program level Identifies and analyzes new materials to meet Operations objectives and initiatives Maintains resource library, database, and implements design standards Fields hospital emails and questions regarding finishes in existing hospitals Provides project management services on design projects Maintains industry registration/certifications through continued education seminars, internet courses and other related courses, if applicable Travels to hospitals to coordinate design and construction projects Organizes, plans, and manages time effectively to complete assignments This position must sit at our Home Office in Birmingham, AL Qualifications License or Certification: Licensed Interior Designer preferred Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or similar field Required Minimum of 2-5 years experience Healthcare experience preferred Computer experience, including use of Adobe and PowerPoint A little about us:
