Position summary:

The Design Execution manager will assist the Design Manager in executing on time and on budget delivery of packaging projects. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing Label D systems, external and internal asset management systems, billing, proofreading, and assisting in managing label process approval. This role will manage process from design frozen through adaptation, artwork & pre-press by ensuring efficient workflow between the creative and executional phases, and is responsible for development, industrialization and delivery of branded packaging with focus on achieving results on time, on budget, and according to defined quality standards (design/print quality). This role is offered as part of our in-house agency team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Nestle internal system (Smart Label D) which is used to create, enter, review and approve labeling information for all Nestle products

  • Coordinate Smart Label D system inputs to generate label specification:

  • Collect recipes, UPC, ZPCK and NPDI numbers and description from Technical Applications Group and other cross-functional partners

  • Enter product data or supervise 3rd party entry

  • Initiate LS (label specification) request

  • Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure compliance

  • Route for content approval, mitigate inconsistencies, edits, rejections

  • Maintain an accurate and up to date master tracker

  • Provide training for all new users Design Execution

  • Execute designs that are efficient, accurate and meeting Nestle standards.

  • Responsible for on-time, on budget and accurate delivery of design and adaptation projects spanning applications including packaging, digital assets and other creative initiatives.

  • Manages relationships and quality standards for adaptation agencies, artwork & pre-press partners, & printers.

  • Responsible for delivery of all required files to the pre-press/repro partner and printers so packs can be printed and delivered to the factories on time. Asset Manager

  • Maintenance of Kwikee system ensuring that the information/images are 100% accurate, new products' information is uploaded and old product archived, turn-on/off dates are provided by Mktg

  • Kwikee E-Commerce image collection and upload; development , approval and upload of 6-view images and advertising images of all products

  • AssetLink cybrarian ensuring the site is current, handling registration and training of new users, managing image requests, etc.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • 1-2 years' work experience in a related field; Design/Agency/Digital trafficking/Product Management experience is strongly encouraged

  • Must be PC savvy, versed in SAP billing and have solid knowledge of all major PC software (Excel, MS Office, Outlook, as well as web-based systems/asset management systems.) Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

  • Must have project management skills: self-starter, able to manage projects multi-task, set priorities, meet tight deadlines, able to shift priorities as the business dictates

  • Great organizational skills and attention to details are essential

Skills:

  • Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

  • Has to be a team player, have sense of urgency and capable of working under pressure

  • Has to have ability to manage project flow and ensure that cross-functional teams adhere to established deadlines; must be diplomatic but firm

  • Must have ability to perform with speed and accuracy in fast-paced environment

  • Packaging/labeling/master data experience preferred

  • Versed in data-entry and proofreading

  • Experience working in creative environments is a plus

Responsibilities: * Design Thinking Strategist, build competitive advantage through the infusion of Design Thinking within the brand by leveraging in-depth understanding of consumer, competitive and design insights * Ensure all design and visual communication contributes to enhancing the brand image and desired business ambition * Incorporate design thinking and strategic visual communication into the brand building and product development process, Brand Building the Nestle Way (BBNW) * Partner with marketing, consumer research and structural packaging to develop portfolio strategies that inspire consumer purchase behavior and facilitate shopper navigation within the portfolio.Brand Design Leader * Provide project leadership to affect design objectives and strategy, quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and market competitiveness. * Establish strong partnerships with strategic design agencies and adaptation agencies to ensure Nestle receives high quality service and consumer driven design that is breakthrough yet delivered efficiently. * Partner with brand team to create design strategies and translate them into effective design briefs to ensure design meets business objectives. * Directs design projects from conception through design lock, working with external design resources and internal functions.
