The Surface Transportation Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Design Engineer
The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Water Resources, specific to drainage, stormwater management/best management practices, erosion and sediment pollution control, and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in the development of roadway alignments, hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, stormwater design, traffic control plans, erosion control plans, right-of-way determination, utility coordination, and environmental permitting utilizing Microstation, AutoCAD and a variety of Civil Engineering design software applications and MS Office applications
Assisting with preliminary to final design calculations and plan development, reviewing of field information, possible field inspection of existing facilities and other work consistent with the duties of an entry level engineer
General office administration, including report reproduction, collation and deliveries
Enthusiastic individuals eager to face new challenges and take on personal responsibilities are best qualified to meet the demands of this work
Bachelor's degree in Water Resource Engineering or related field
Project engineer experience with an emphasis in drainage, stormwater management/best management practices, erosion and sediment control, and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design
Working Knowledge of MircoStation and/or AutoCAD
Ability to succeed in fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, and meeting strict deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Master Degree in Water Resource Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
Some experience with civil engineering related software (Civil 3D, Inroads, StormCAD, HydroCAD, Pondpak)
Very Familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point)
