Join our innovative team as a Design Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing cutting-edge products. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to drive design solutions from concept to production.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000/yr.

Hybrid role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine product designs, ensuring performance, functionality, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to source materials and components while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Conduct research and stay up to date with emerging technologies, materials, and industry trends to enhance design processes.
  • Create and review technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to select materials and optimize component sourcing.
  • Evaluate prototypes, conduct testing, and analyze results to improve designs and resolve technical challenges.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the design and production process to ensure efficiency and product reliability.
  • Support contract negotiations for design-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Continuously assess and refine design and development processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with engineering simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and supply chain best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines and performance objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience in product design, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Certifications in design or engineering fields are a plus.
