Duties:

  • Designing automated robotic systems

  • Designing end of arm tools and any custom equipment

  • Design, planning and creating of automated material handling systems

Required:

  • 2D and 3D CAD experience

  • Experience in machine system

  • UG-NX experience required

  • Must have an advanced understanding of how to program logic controllers, robots, servo/motion controllers, interfaces and vision systems

Job Summary - * Write code, create control programs in various platforms and languages * Program using relative coordinate systems * Conduct process tryouts to test programs; utilize robot simulation software. * Revise existing programs to optimize robot motion and efficiency. * Program on the machine, as well as offline. * Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend process improvements. * Interpretation of technical data such as Engineering Drawings, Quality Assurance specifications, etc., which will flow down into process work instructions. * Create and modify work instructions for processes including the definition of tooling and parameters. * Review tool designs, mark-up prints, issue request forms, track tool changes, and corrections. * Participate in manufacturing reviews and recommend program or tooling changes. * Read, write, speak and understand English.
