  • Design and engineering mechanical or automation alterations and additions to MULTIVAC machines and tooling by analyzing sales sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to draft designs
  • Use MULTIVAC tools, methods, and processes, as well as innovative solutions to solve customer requirements
  • Develop package design and drawings
  • Post-installation support for mechanical or automated systems designed in house as well as designs from other MULTIVAC locations
  • Assist with design and engineering solutions to aid in resolving customer service support issues
  • Keep up-to-date on field developments and trends


  • Previous experience in related fields with vendor selection, line optimization, product conveying and channelizing
  • Two Three Four and possibly 5 axis robot integration
  • End-effector design a plus
  • Mechanical design with SolidWorks, and Line creation
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail

The Public Relations, Creative Solutions & Brand Marketing Communications Group is responsible for achieving greater synergies between the marketing functions that create, reinforce and strengthen the Commerce Brand. The Graphic Designer supports the in-house Creative Solutions Group's creative output of assigned print and digital projects in support of Commerce strategies and business goals for Commerce Bancshares, Commerce Bank SPUs and internal support teams. An understanding of typography, layout, and art design is required. Must be fluent in all industry-standard graphic design applications and workflow management systems and experience supporting brand style governance, consistency and amplification strategies is preferred. Should be capable of working on multiple projects at once, collaborating in a team environment, and interacting directly with stakeholders. Representative Duties: * Creation of visual design solutions, from concept to completion, in print or digital platforms using a wide range of graphic applications for internal and external communications programs and projects including the development, revisions and production of creative output. * Ensures creative output meets the business requirements, message and functions successfully for brand, technical and performance specifications. * Ensures that all brand guidelines, internal and external quality standards and requirements are met for each assignment. * Assists in general graphic production, including scanning, proofing, and archiving project files/documents to Digital Asset Manager * Ensures all assigned projects are completed in a cost-efficient manner by the assigned deadline. * Actively participates in creative brainstorming meetings. * Additional duties as assigned by the Creative Solutions Manager to support team, client and corporate marketing priorities. Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * Associates or Bachelors degree with a major in Graphic Design or Graphic Communications A good working knowledge of the following tools is required: * InDesign * Illustrator * Photoshop * Microsoft Office * AfterEffects or similar animation skills, a plus * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Adeptness with leading design software packages * A determination to achieve and succeed * Ability to coordinate multiple deadline-driven tasks * The ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment * The ability to see projects through from inception to production * Consistency regardless of project size * Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team * The motivation to maintain and improve design standards * The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve Time Type: Full time Commerce Bank Kansas City MO
