Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineering mechanical or automation alterations and additions to MULTIVAC machines and tooling by analyzing sales sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to draft designs
  • Use MULTIVAC tools, methods, and processes, as well as innovative solutions to solve customer requirements
  • Develop package design and drawings
  • Post-installation support for mechanical or automated systems designed in house as well as designs from other MULTIVAC locations
  • Assist with design and engineering solutions to aid in resolving customer service support issues
  • Keep up-to-date on field developments and trends

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in related fields with vendor selection, line optimization, product conveying and channelizing
  • Two Three Four and possibly 5 axis robot integration
  • End-effector design a plus
  • Mechanical design with SolidWorks, and Line creation
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
