Summary
The role of Design Engineer III plays a crucial role in the engineering of the Ultra-Span cold-formed steel trusses and support of our MiTek customers and the building and construction industry. This position requires an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in good standing with multiple state licensing boards to ensure our products are in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The expertise required is instrumental in delivering high quality engineering and contributing to the success of our customers. This position reports to the Director of Engineering Manager located in the corporate headquarters in Chesterfield, MO.

Bachelors Engineering required ( Civil, Structural, Architectural (Structural), or Mechanical )
4+ Years of related experience
Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
Soft Skills
Strong skills in algebra, trigonometry, physics, statistics and strength of materials, structural analysis and design.
Accuracy
Technical Skills: Must have solid engineering/technical skills, including attention to detail.
Safety: Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
