Develop and design advanced vehicle components and systems. Apply theoretical principles and engineering techniques in designing a vehicle that is reliable, serviceable, energy efficient, competitive and uses the latest technology available in the industry.
Develop and design complex vehicle components and systems.
Apply theoretical principles and engineering techniques in designing a vehicle that is reliable, serviceable, energy efficient, competitive and uses the latest technology available in the industry.
Interface with engineering personnel to determine the most effective and economic materials to be used in product parts.
Interface with Test & Development personnel to analyze problems encountered in prototype development/testing.
Provide creative, technically feasible solutions.
Interface and coordinate with purchasing, vendors, BOM, manufacturing and other engineering personnel in the product development and testing phases.
Evaluate state-of-the-art developments in the vehicle industry and apply the latest advances.
Apply statistical and engineering techniques in designing and testing.
Use programming and modeling techniques in conjunction with mathematical analysis.
Interface with product regulation and compliance personnel to design vehicles that meet government regulations, restrictions and codes.
A Master's degree from an accredited college/university with 1 years experience OR a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university with 3 years of related experience required
A degree focus in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics required
Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license within 90 days of hire preferred
