Design Engineer

Prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, illustrations, artwork, or blueprints, using drafting instruments, paints and brushes, or computer-aided design equipment. Utilizing NX, the designer should be familiar with Restraint systems/Airbag OR Compliance Drawings, Steering wheels/Ramsis, Supplier and Vehicle Integration.

Design graphic material for use as illustration or advertising on manufactured materials and packaging or containers. Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film. Experience with Adobe imaging software (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop), computer aided design (CAD) software and graphics software.

Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in eMaintenance System. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in industrial design, architecture or engineering. Masters degree preferred.

Minimum 2-7 years experience required within - Restraint systems/Airbags/Steering wheels/Ramsis/Seatbelt/Seat-buckles or Driver Safety system design experience.
