You will be facilitating collaborative efforts with both internal and external teams, evaluating current solutions while also understanding current trends impacting future customer requirements for maximum throughput and productivity. Use your broadly recognized subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. This will require working closely with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Software, and Service teams to drive effectiveness through a total solution mindset and process orientated team. Be a "go-to" person that bridges product strategy and implementation to help Honeywell win customers by sharing your knowledge about products and solutions that compete on the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present technical sales briefings to customers

  • Coordinate engineering support of pursuits

  • Provide data for sales collateral

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of material handling experience
  • 1+ years of Solutions Development & Consultative approach exp.

This position performs research, development, calculations, design and delivery in partnership with the project team. Develops conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support the project execution using current drawing and technical tools, programs and software. Primary Focus Will Include: * Preparing designs and related documentation for transportation infrastructure projects. * Supporting diverse design activities focusing on highway geometry, maintenance of traffic, transit facilities, and related facilities. * Direct interface and coordination with professionals working in related technical disciplines for the design of traffic appurtenances, drainage systems, bridges, tunnels, utilities, electrical systems, and tolling infrastructure. * Responsibility for completion of work products such as reports, designs, specifications, plans, and estimates. * Supporting Senior Engineers and Project Managers with application of quality management protocols. * Fulfilling other duties, as assigned. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: * Working knowledge of Microstation, Geopak SS10 and/or ORD software * Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint * Demonstrated ability to apply AASHTO and state DOT design guidelines, policies, and practices to address complex design challenges * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Detail-oriented team player with an ability to deliver high quality work and contribute to a positive work environment * Experience delivering transportation infrastructure design projects in Maryland, Virginia, or DC * Experience supporting design-build and/or P3 projects * Interest and complementary experience in drainage and/or utility design * Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software What You'll Need Essential Responsibilities: * Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided. * Responsible for preparation and/or modification for select portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations. * Develops project quantities and assists with development of cost estimates. * Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files. * Able to self-sufficiently complete various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects. * Performs other duties as assigned.
