You will be facilitating collaborative efforts with both internal and external teams, evaluating current solutions while also understanding current trends impacting future customer requirements for maximum throughput and productivity. Use your broadly recognized subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. This will require working closely with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Software, and Service teams to drive effectiveness through a total solution mindset and process orientated team. Be a "go-to" person that bridges product strategy and implementation to help Honeywell win customers by sharing your knowledge about products and solutions that compete on the market.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of material handling experience
  • 1+ years of Solutions Development & Consultative approach exp.


  • Ability to us CAD or similar software

  • External focus with customer-orientated mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships

  • In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies

  • Operational experience in the industry and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse and distribution solutions & practices

  • Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

We are seeking candidates for a Drainage Project Manager I, with demonstrated experience on fast-paced transportation infrastructure projects, and with subject matter expertise in hydrology, hydraulics and stormwater management. This role is a key member of project leadership teams, responsible for proactively managing budget, schedule, technical requirements, and contractual obligations; provide high level technical tasks while managing and reviewing design elements such as specifications, calculations, reports, and plans. This individual will accomplish HNTB's 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client's satisfaction on every project through coordination with internal and external partners and cross discipline teams to address and solve design related issues or concerns.</p><p>Primary Focus Will Include:</p><ul><li><p>Hydrology and hydraulics design of surface water runoff collection and conveyance systems, stormwater management design, open channel modeling, scour analysis and mitigation measures.</p></li><li><p>Leads project teams in the development of design modeling, calculations, plans, specs and quality control.</p></li><li><p>Works with other disciplines to assure a fully integrated design.</p></li><li><p>Works with project managers, other discipline leads and contracting partners to provide engineering to develop cost estimates and identify risks for job pursuits.</p></li><li><p>Develops scopes, fees and workplans to execute projects on aggressive schedules.</p></li><li><p>Assigns tasks and directs the design to provide quality deliverables and meet project schedules.</p></li><li><p>Acts as a subject matter expert and provides senior review of designs, proposals, fee estimates, scopes of work for projects across the nation.</p></li><li><p>Proficient with common industry software (Microstation, InRoads Drainage, GEOPAK Drainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Storm CAD, HEC-RAS 1D &amp; 2D, SWMM, PondPack, Culvert Master, Flow Master, etc.)</p></li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications and Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Master's degree in Engineering</p></li><li><p>15+ years relevant experience in design of hydrology, hydraulics and stormwater management projects, including progression to task and project management.</p></li><li><p>Professional Engineer (PE) certification, and the ability to obtain PE in multiple states</p></li><li><p>Excellent communications skills</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with construction methods and the ability to optimize designs accordingly.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with permitting on the federal, state and local level.</p></li></ul><p>What You'll Need</p><p>Essential Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).</p></li><li><p>Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
