You will be facilitating collaborative efforts with both internal and external teams, evaluating current solutions while also understanding current trends impacting future customer requirements for maximum throughput and productivity. Use your broadly recognized subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. This will require working closely with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Software, and Service teams to drive effectiveness through a total solution mindset and process orientated team. Be a "go-to" person that bridges product strategy and implementation to help Honeywell win customers by sharing your knowledge about products and solutions that compete on the market.

  • Present technical sales briefings to customers

  • Coordinate engineering support of pursuits

  • Provide data for sales collateral


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of material handling experience
  • 1+ years of Solutions Development & Consultative approach exp.


  • Ability to us CAD or similar software

  • External focus with customer-orientated mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships

  • In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies

  • Operational experience in the industry and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse and distribution solutions & practices

  • Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Coordination with production staff to produce the highest quality equipment, with the greatest efficiency is another high priority.</p><p>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li><p>Duties and Responsibilities include; but are not limited to the following:</p></li><li><p>Develop and dial in current products to meet customer demands and quality standards.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Sunbelt teams to identify high potential equipment to build, thereby growing the line of products produced at PSW.</p></li><li><p>Oversee and manage equipment certifications with approved agencies.</p></li><li><p>Work with production staff to gear up for and dial in productions of equipment.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with management team to build prototypes.</p></li><li><p>Gather information from field applications regarding performance and appropriateness of manufactured products.</p></li><li><p>Represent products at specified trade shows.</p></li><li><p>Work with Sunbelt teams to identify potential new equipment designs.</p></li><li><p>Enhance the performance and safety of current designs to provide the greatest benefit to the customer.</p></li><li><p>Gather information on industry competitors.</p></li><li><p>Provide product demonstrations to potential customers.</p></li><li><p>Establish professional relationships with current and potential vendors. Negotiate aggressively.</p></li><li><p>Provide product support for all units produced.</p></li><li><p>Write or coordinate with technical writers to produce high quality service and operations manuals.</p></li><li><p>Create equipment training classes for service and sales staffs.</p></li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li><p>A minimum of 5 years of experience designing HVAC and related equipment.</p></li><li><p>Strong hands on and mechanical skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong electrical skills and the ability to work safely with 3 phase power.</p></li><li><p>A background and/ or ability to learn how to fabricate metal parts.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership and professional skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong drafting skills with current programs.</p></li><li><p>Excellent organization and follow-up skills with heavy attention to detail required.</p></li><li><p>Ability to effectively work on multiple assignments in the fast paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Focus on self-safety and ability to recognize safety opportunity in leading others.</p></li></ul><p>The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
