You will be facilitating collaborative efforts with both internal and external teams, evaluating current solutions while also understanding current trends impacting future customer requirements for maximum throughput and productivity. Use your broadly recognized subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. This will require working closely with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Software, and Service teams to drive effectiveness through a total solution mindset and process orientated team. Be a "go-to" person that bridges product strategy and implementation to help Honeywell win customers by sharing your knowledge about products and solutions that compete on the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present technical sales briefings to customers

  • Coordinate engineering support of pursuits

  • Provide data for sales collateral


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of material handling experience
  • 1+ years of Solutions Development & Consultative approach exp.


  • Ability to us CAD or similar software

  • External focus with customer-orientated mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships

  • In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies

  • Operational experience in the industry and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse and distribution solutions & practices

  • Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.</p><p>Are you ready to shape the future with us?</p><p>THE POSITION</p><ul><li><p>Responsible for Truck and Bus tire development tasks from inception through serial production with focus on Retread products for the Americas</p></li><li><p>Coordination of Design Concepts, FMEA's, Gateway Presentations, Technical Specifications, Cross Section Design, Experimental Tire builds and all necessary testing/certifications for Truck and Bus tires.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all relevant OE requirements and testing are met and completed in coordination with the responsible Automotive Engineer(s)</p></li><li><p>Project leader for development projects including the planning, administration and steering of the project results concerning quality, timing and cost.</p></li><li><p>Gather &amp; document market knowledge for assigned products and applications to assist product management with product request criteria and to request new technology developments from Global Platform, Global Tread, Pattern Contour &amp; Layout, and Material Development &amp; Planning and other technology groups.</p></li><li><p>Support of Technical Customer Service in support of O2I (Observation to Improvement) process</p></li><li><p>Support Product Industrialization with CVG (Conti Value Generation) measures &amp; product transfers</p></li><li><p>Support Global Platform Development, Global Tread and Body compound developments by participating in technology development projects</p></li><li><p>Provide technical support to internal and external customers including product launches/training, testing activities, test data analysis</p></li><li><p>Product maintenance - Further development and maintenance of existing product lines including updates to product specifications, support of quality topics and SPS (Structured</p></li><li><p>Problem Solving), introduction of new technologies and materials</p></li><li><p>Senior level engineers may be assigned additional responsibilities, including local responsibility for related quality processes, known internally as GT Poms.
