We are a privately owned organization with an average tenure of 11 years.

We are a leading manufacture within our industry. We are currently focusing on building our engineering team so that we are able to keep our competitive edge. We have increased this team by 5% over the last 6 months. We are currently looking to add another Electrical Design Engineer with the ability to create schematic designs.

What You Will Be Doing

We are looking for someone who can create and draw schematics for our products.
You will be creating these designs for our existing product lines, and future products as well.

What You Need for this Position

At Least 3 Years of experience and knowledge of:

Electrical Schematic Design

Experience with 3D CAD software: Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit

Electrical Engineering

Major Function: Acts as the electrical project leader on programs or portions of programs that are of major concern to the division. Assists management with the planning and approval phases of the program and assumes responsibility for executing the project plan. Insures product performance, reliability, durability, costs, and timing meeting the project plan. Circuit design and embedded firmware design and testing. Duties and Responsibilities: * Works with electrical and other design team members to finalize designs and implement into production. Develops specifications with vendors, and helps assure that the vendors meet the requirements of the design. * Creates a design using analog and digital elements, which satisfies the product requirements as outlined in the product specification. Develops methods to sense and control physical parameters such as position, pressure and velocity using analog and digital circuits. * Creates software/embedded firmware designs that satisfy the product requirements as outlined in the product specification and resolves design problems. Writes code in languages including "C". * Designs, constructs, and tests working prototypes of electrical products or systems which meet the requirement of the product specification. * Designs to applicable regulatory standards i.e., ANAI, EN, C.S.A., U.L., or other applicable standards. Works with the agencies to provide certification within project time line. * Performs engineering analysis to predict the behavior and failure modes of the proposed designs. Analysis tools may include closed form solutions or electronic simulation programs. * Develops project design plans including budgets and schedules. Executes to the developed plan and assists in the control of the project. * Consults with other project design engineers, marketing, research engineers, designers and others on proposed product designs. May be responsible for the work direction of designers, drafters, contract/consulting personnel, and others. * Assures that designs meet the requirements of the customer as defined by safety and any applicable industry or Toro standard. * Coordinates work with and product development team members such as but not exclusively: Shop, Test, Drafting, CAE, Quality, Marketing, Purchasing, Plants, Advance Manufacturing, Sales, Technical Publications, Administration, and management. * Responsible for drawing package, bill of material, and product specification. Responsible for the building of prototypes. * Works with test engineer and technicians to develop tests, which simulate the requirements of the customer. Evaluates test data and develops design revisions to solve problems. Works with Manufacturing, Test, and Quality Control to insure proper testing of components or assemblies on the assembly line where necessary. * Keeps abreast of new technological developments, components, concepts, materials, manufacturing processes, or the competitive environment, which would affect the design, design process, or Exmark/Toro products. * Provides current product support to areas such as but not exclusively: Legal, Test, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service. * Travel to test sites, distributors, customers, vendors, manufacturing facilities, and others as required. * Ability to work with others or in teams to accomplish goals. Includes task and/or project leadership. Education and Experience: * Four year degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline. Three to five years of work experience preferred.
