Job Description Summary
Position supports a Major Financial Client in Malvern, PA. The position will be responsible for providing engineering support to facilities management staff and client engineering team with building system operations.
This position will reside in the account's Technical Services group dedicated to supporting the client's Global Engineering department.
Position requires a detailed understanding of project design documentation.
Position requires excellent written and verbal communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Must be able to use sound judgement and discretion and must demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and initiative to drive the organizational process. Must be able to initiate and complete projects and reports independently, accurately and often under deadline pressure. Must have the ability to process, prioritize, assign and follow-up on requests.
Maintain documentation library and check in and check out process related to MEPLS building drawings and critical spaces.
Create and update CADD drawings as needed to reflect new spaces, changes, and updates related to life cycle or project work.
Review field surveys, inspection information or technical investigations to obtain data required to develop construction drawings
Prepare clear, complete, and accurate drawings from rough or detailed sketches.
Review drawings for completeness, constructability, and coordination.
Produce, review, and analyze facility data
Maintain hardcopy and softcopy CADD files for all facilities
Verify existing facilities for producing as-built drawings
Maintain schedules of upcoming work, projects or other field replacements that affect drawings
Coordinate with account architectural team and controls teams as needed to maintain as-built conditions to the portfolio of buildings and assets.
Actively gather field surveys for updates.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in Drafting or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoDesk/AutoCAD
Experience with application of CADD Standards
Experience project management and process improvement.
Knowledge of building systems and power distribution a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail and ability to receive constructive feedback and implement changes.
Ability to consistently develop accurate periodic reports, under client defined critical deadlines.
Time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
Self-starter and must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
