Design Engineer

Full-time Design Engineer needed for a foundry in North Carolina We are currently recruiting for a full-time Design Engineer for a Foundry located in North Carolina. The Design Engineer will work on tooling for products in a wide variety of manufacturing sectors with numerous applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

The Design Engineer will work on the following items: Design molds, patterns for customer parts from CAD files and drawings. Create 3D CAD models of design.

They will prepare routine layouts, detail drawings, assemble drawing, sketches and diagrams. Work on qualifying fixtures and machining fixtures. Work with CAD & SolidWorks.

Work with the Engineering Department on a daily basis with existing and new patterns. Work with the Engineering Department to solve technical and complex problems with foundry tooling.
