Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing panel systems, exteriors on buildings, metal panels/façades, metal railing systems and other artwork/metal work. You will utilize AutoCAD, Solidworks and Fusion 360 for Sheet Metal Design. This role is primarily onsite and requires occasional visits to job sites. While you will sometimes interact with clients, you will always have the support of your manager. The work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30-4 PM, with potential for occasional overtime.

Hard Skills

• 5 years of design experience

• Sheet Metal Design

• AutoCAD

• Solidworks OR Fusion 360

Soft Skills

• Client facing with support from manager

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in El Cajon, California.

Work Environment

This role is based in our El Cajon office. You will be part of an 8-person team with varying levels of experience. While the role is primarily onsite, flexibility is offered due to the powerful software required for the role. Overtime may occasionally be required. The standard work week is 40 hours.
