Job Description

Partner with structural engineers to design and model products for customers. Create blueprints and BOM (bill of material) for offsite manufacturing. Work with subcontractors and contractors on installation expectations. Collaborate with the team on project deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, Design, Drafting, Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, ProE
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 6 months of experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Small office with 15 employees, looking to add 2-3 more Mechanical Engineers. Designers will work closely with engineers and other designers. The office has a family atmosphere, not a corporate feel. The environment is laid-back with a lot of flexibility regarding work hours as long as tasks are completed. Weekly and monthly incentives are available to earn bonuses. There is room for growth within the company. The company pays 100% of employees' healthcare and offers a 401(k) with a 3% match.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
