Design Engineer

Description:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or Associates in Science with a focus on design and manufacturing

• 2-5 years of experience with complex machinery and / or hydraulic components

• Familiar with 3D modeling software's, specifically Inventor

• Familiarity with FEA and CFD software

• Ability to accurately quote prospective opportunities

• Knowledge of measuring and testing equipment

• Troubleshooting skills

Skills:

Design, inventor solidworks, BOM, Ball Valves, solidworks, mechanical, mechanical design, hydraulics, Drafting, unigraphic, new product development, 3d modeling, autocad, CFD software, FEA software, fluid power certification, Manifolds

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• New product development

• Design and develop standard and prototype hydraulic components and systems

• Improving existing product drawings

• Design testing systems for product validation

• Conduct DFMEAs on new projects

• Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Management System
